The very beginning of something great.

Our Toddler Classes offer a warm, interactive environment where young children develop social, motor, and early learning skills through guided play and joyful exploration—the first step in a Hudson School education.

Our Toddler Environment

Nurturing the whole child from the very start.

Our Toddler Classes are designed around the way young children actually learn: through movement, sensory play, repetition, and loving relationships with trusted adults. In small, carefully structured groups on our Willow Avenue campus, our early childhood teachers create an environment that is safe, stimulating, and joyful—helping each child develop at their own pace while building the social and cognitive foundations that will serve them throughout school.

Growing in every direction.

  • Social Skills Through Play

Taking turns, sharing, communicating wants and feelings—toddlers build the social foundations of school life through carefully guided group play and daily classroom routines.

  • Motor Development

Fine and gross motor activities are woven into every day, from building with blocks and working with art materials to movement games and outdoor time.

  • Early Language and Literacy

Stories, songs, conversation, and rhymes build vocabulary, phonological awareness, and a love of language long before formal reading instruction begins.

  • Curiosity and Exploration

Sensory bins, simple science, dramatic play, and creative art give toddlers a rich landscape to investigate their world and begin to make sense of it.
