The Hudson School was founded in 1978 by Suellen Newman as an independent, coeducational day school for curious, motivated students. Today, under Head of School Rebekah Sollitto, Hudson pairs a rigorous, college-preparatory program with a genuinely humane culture — one where students are known by name and expected to treat one another with respect. Our foundations are three words: Compassion, Commitment, and Courage.
Our FoundationsBoth of my boys enjoyed their first experience acting on stage at Hudson because theater is built into the curriculum. The sleepaway trips were fantastic growth experiences.
