Where a Hudson education leads
Olivia Newman ’96
Director and writer of the film First Match and director of Where the Crawdads Sing, a film recognized with Hollywood Music in Media and People’s Choice Award nominations.
Max Feinstein ’06
Producer and owner of Silverhorse Sound in Hoboken and the inventor of a patented musical instrument, he continues to record and release his own music.
Molly Reckford ’07
A Dartmouth graduate who represented Team USA in lightweight double sculls at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, placing fifth in the final.
Myles Zhang ’15
A graduate of Columbia and Oxford, now pursuing doctoral study at Cambridge in architecture and urban studies.
Chris Langer ’15
Earned a B.A. in Biochemistry with Honors from Vassar College and went on to research the origins of new genes at Rockefeller University.
Minal Patel, MD, MS ’84
A Harvard-trained physician and CEO of Abacus Insights, a healthcare technology company, with a Master of Public Health from Harvard.
Ashley Hearon-Smith ’03
A Marymount Manhattan graduate who worked in television production before creating HudsonCounty60, an Instagram docuseries spotlighting Hudson County.

A first-grade Spanish immersion teacher at Avenues: The World School, carrying forward the nurturing teaching she experienced at Hudson.
