More things families want to know.
How many students are in each class?
Grade sizes range from 15 to 30 students. Class sizes vary by subject and student interest but never exceed 25. Most world language classes have 10 or fewer students.
What is the process for international students?
The admissions process is the same as for domestic students, with the addition of an English assessment conducted by a THS teacher—which may be completed over Google Meet. TOEFL scores are not required. Visit our International Students page for full details.
Do you have summer programs?
Yes! Hudson’s summer programming runs from June through the first week of August. Contact the school for current offerings and registration details.
What daily life at Hudson looks like.
Morning homeroom begins at 8:15 am. Lower School dismisses at 3:15 pm, with after-school enrichment until 4:15 pm. Middle School homeroom dismisses at 3:25 pm and enrichment runs until 4:30 or 5:00 pm depending on the activity. Upper School students may leave after their last scheduled class. THS does not provide school transportation; most students arrive by public transit. New Jersey residents in participating counties may qualify for transportation reimbursement, and NYC residents are eligible for a student MetroCard.
