Let your voice be heard.
Upper School students at The Hudson School run their own publications — writing, editing, designing, and publishing work that reaches the whole school community and beyond.
Publications run entirely by students.
The Hudson School’s student publications are student-run in every meaningful sense. Upper School students choose the topics, report the stories, write the copy, edit each other’s work, and design and publish the final product. Faculty advisors guide without dictating — the result is work students own and are genuinely proud of.

Real writing for a real audience.
Student publications at Hudson develop authentic writing and journalism skills — not practice exercises, but real work for real readers. Students learn to report, interview, draft, revise, and publish. They develop a critical awareness of how stories are constructed and what responsibility comes with putting words into the world.

From idea to finished publication.
Students don’t just write — they design and produce their publications from start to finish. Working with layout, typography, images, and digital platforms, student editors develop the full complement of skills that define modern publishing and media production.
